Grammy Sue and ZoeToday our seven students head back to the USA. It has been awesome to have them here. I was so impressed by their adventurous spirits and desire to embrace a new culture with all it's challenges and struggles. They were able to make great relationships in their short time here, and they even learned and used some Chinese!
This was the second annual trip of students from Grace University in Omaha, NE. A huge benefit from these trips is that we always get some family to come along too since Sue is the head of teacher education at Grace!! It was bittersweet to see the students leave, but now we are gearing up for the next huge event- our trip back to the USA! Sue, Katie, Bailey, Zoe, and I will fly to Beijing on Tuesday, stay the night, then fly to the USA via Seoul, Korea, on Wednesday. It's going to be a LOOONNGG trip. (more details on that later) Micah will stay with Chris as an apprentice at the coffee shop until July 23rd, and Chris will join me in the States at the end of August for our last three weeks there. It's going to be great!
