One of my goals this summer was to learn how to sew. Before I came back to the States I did a lot of research and bought some really great sewing books. It turns out that they were very complicated for a beginner, but I pressed on and have actually learned quite a bit. I hope to find a sewing machine when we get back to China; I'll keep you updated on that. Hopefully there will be many more blogs in the future about more sewing adventures!! Here's one of my first projects-a smock.
